These calipers not only look better but remove 36 lbs. of unsprung weight from your Corvette. The calipers feature cup style stainless steel pistons, a much better insulator than the solid Delco aluminum pistons. The set comes with braided stainless steel brake lines, a car set of semi-metallic brake pads, two stainless steel trailing arms brake lines and a car set of gas vented rotors.  The 65-67 caliper castings are different in appearance, but identical in function to the 68-82's. The later castings work perfectly on the 65-67s, but if you have any 65-82 Corvette and want your new calipers to have the correct casting numbers for your particular model year, it will cost an extra $15 per caliper and will take a few extra days. |

are correct year Delco stainless steel lined castings,
precision machined to match the original J-56 twin
pin calipers. Our new OEM original pistons are fitted
with phenolic second-design insulators. These phenolic
insulators are not recommended for racing. For road
racing, use the more durable titanium insulators
to help prevent brake fluid boiling. |

These are the finest replacement rotors available anywhere. They are exactly identical to the AC Delco rotors still available at some Chevrolet dealers (at $130 each). Notice that these are the correct style without the rivet holes. GM replacement rotors have no rivet holes. Our Gold racing brake pads were chosen after a lot of testing. We evaluated bedding, cold pad performance, friction coefficient, feel and longevity. We have used these pads for several years, both front and rear, and until we found (and could afford) the Platinum pads, these were the very best. Now we run the Platinum pads. They are obviously more expensive, but well worth it. They come pre-bedded, but of course you still have to bed them to your rotors, which is half the bedding required on the Gold pads. As mentioned above, late last year we found a superior pad to the Gold pad we used exclusively for the last three years. Our Gold pads were on our car during every race win and all our track records from 2008-2011. Now we run the Platinum pads. The only disadvantage is price, but this is not where you want to cut your race budget.
